Hi My name is Hamid, one of the volunteers at a local animal shelter helping to feed, shelter and provide medical care to wild animals and pets. But we're facing too many problems and hardship. Due to approaching cold weather ahead of us and severe lack of manpower, equipment and resources we are under a lot of pressure. Some volunteer as animal care, veterinarian and educator but it's not nearly enough specially because of economic hardship it has even become harder to find reliable and more permanent help. Uneducated pet owners are making our work even harder since they don't know how to take care of their pets and sometimes they breed their dogs but when they are unable to manage, most of the time they would just release them out of towns that has created huge problems such as high numbers of stray dogs in rural areas.
